“Dans un monde où la pacotille et la violence semblent faire système de manière infernale, notre contribution sera enfin une pensée du courage, naturellement assise sur le courage de penser” François Cassingena-Trévedy

“There is a mysterious pleasure in retaining one’s reason and spiritual independence particularly in a period where confusion and madness are rampant” Stephan Zweig

A message from Marie & Léo :

A two-voiced project across time and space.
A two-voiced dialogue born out of our differences.

We hope to dream impossible dreams in a time of fear and nightmare.
We hope to create communities of readers and thinkers in a time of disconnected and fragmented lives.
We hope to start a conversation in a space that can be reappropriated for reality and materiality away from the virtual and materialism.
We hope to say that communication is possible when a passion for sharing and giving inspires two people inhabiting this earth today, miles and ways apart. When the passion of reaching out to our world in the here and now of our embodied existence becomes the path to creation and change.
We hope to transmit a gift. And, with/through/beyond it, our love and excitement for the life of the body and mind.

So like others before us: we have a dream.
To find our way in the cloud and chimera of the posthuman condition.
Such a dream is tentative and fragile.
But it is real, sincere and honest.
Crazy also, perhaps.
But worth “the agony and the sweat” in William Faulkner’s words.
As Faulkner concluded in his speech on receiving the Nobel Prize :

when the last dingdong of doom has clanged and faded from the last worthless rock hanging tideless in the last red and dying evening, that even then there will still be one more sound: that of his puny inexhaustible voice, still talking”.
